If you don't know who Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman are, they are both YouTubers with a good size following. They are a really cute couple who lives in the UK. Earlier this week, they announced that they are getting divorced. This came as a surprise to me because they seemed really happy and have been married for 4 years.
They each announced individual statements telling their followers the sad news. Tanya said: "Just wanted to let you all know that a few weeks ago Jim and I made the painful decision to no longer be together," the 29-year-old wrote. "We have a huge amount of love and respect for each other and will continue to remain friends forever. Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy at this difficult time."
Jim said something similar: "After twelve incredible years, Tan and I have decided to go our separate ways. We're still absolutely the best of friends and have nothing but love and respect for each other. We will continue to support one another in all of our ventures and are both looking forward to what the future holds."
Some people are wondering if Tanya was the one who initiated the divorce. There are several things that may support this claim. The first being, Jim was the last one to post a picture with the other. He posted on Christmas but Tanya's last post with Jim was in November. She also, hadn't posted a picture with him in a while when she posted that.
Tanya also has changed quite a lot in even the past few months. When she first started her YouTube channel, she was a more of a cute and quiet person. Now she has put more attention into fashion and acting. She may have changed from the person that she was when she married Jim.
